What's new on LVL Up Auto

The latest features and improvements, in plain language. We build in the open and ship often, so check back, or connect your AI assistant and let it keep up for you.

NewVendors·

Show your Verified Rank with an embeddable badge

Vendors with an innovation score can now embed a live Verified Rank badge on their own website. It shows your current score and category rank straight from LVL Up and updates on its own. Scores reflect our independent scoring and can never be bought.

  • Drop a single image snippet on your site to display your live LVL Up score and rank
  • The badge refreshes automatically as your score changes, no maintenance
  • Links back to your LVL Up profile so dealers can see the full picture
  • Built on independent scoring, so a badge is something you earn, not something you can pay for
NewEveryone·

A more credible directory, powered by real adoption

Vendors earn their place in the public directory. A tool that is not yet in our public catalog stays private to the dealership using it until enough dealerships run it, then it graduates into the directory, comparisons, and rankings automatically. This keeps the lists you rely on credible.

  • Unproven, one-off tools stay out of public listings until at least three different dealerships run them
  • Once a tool crosses that bar, it is promoted into the directory, comparisons, and rankings on its own
  • Keeps the public lists clean and trustworthy for both dealers and vendors
ImprovedEveryone·

Real vendor logos and OEM certifications across the directory

Vendor cards and profiles now show real company logos, and profiles list the OEM brands each vendor is certified for. Franchise dealers can confirm at a glance whether a vendor is approved for their brand.

  • Actual company logos on every card and tile, with a clean lettered placeholder when we do not have one
  • OEM certification chips on vendor profiles with the program name and level
  • Easier to scan the directory, category, brand, and ranking pages
  • Brand guides show how many vendors are OEM-approved for each franchise
ImprovedEveryone·

We strengthened how your data stays private

We tightened how pooled vendor, benchmark, and contract data is exposed so it can never reveal a single dealership's private details. Benchmarks and adoption numbers stay anonymized.

  • Any benchmark you see is pooled across at least five dealerships, medians and ranges only
  • Community adoption shows only a count of dealerships, never which specific ones
  • Public benchmark lookups can only ask about a category, never about a named dealer
  • Plain-language privacy and terms pages cover what we collect, Google sign-in data, deletion, and your California privacy rights
  • Quiet safeguards keep the free comparison tool fast and protected from bulk scrapers
ImprovedDealers·

Cleaner free-scan button on phones

On a phone the scan button now collapses to a compact arrow so your dealership website field stays full width and easy to use.

  • Full-width URL field on mobile, no squeezed button label
  • Single tap to start your free comparison
  • Sharper value message at the top of the page
NewEveryone·

Connect LVL Up to your AI assistant

Connect LVL Up Auto to the AI you already use, like Claude or ChatGPT, then just ask it to pull your vendor stack, compare you to peers, and flag renewals. Connect once in about a minute, choose exactly what it can do, and turn it off any time.

  • One-click connect from Claude or ChatGPT, no key to copy or paste
  • Your AI can answer real questions: what is in my stack, how do I compare, what renews in the next 90 days, what could I switch to
  • Choose exactly what it is allowed to do: look things up, or make changes
  • A connection can never see customer info, billing, or your login, and can never create more connections
  • See every connection, when it was last used, and an activity log of what your AI has been doing
  • Turn any connection off in one click and your AI loses access instantly
NewDealers·

Connect your AI across all your rooftops

If you run a dealer group, you can connect your AI to all your stores at once or limit it to a single location. An all-stores connection can look across every rooftop and asks which store to act on before making any change.

  • Choose All my stores or a single location when you connect
  • Your AI can look across every rooftop with one connection
  • Before any change, it asks which store so nothing happens to the wrong one
  • Single-store accounts are pinned automatically and never see the picker
NewEveryone·

Open API for your own tools and vendors

A documented API so you, or a software vendor you work with, can pull dealership data into your own tools: vendor stack, peer benchmarks, contract renewals, alternatives, and vendor search, plus write actions to add or edit vendors and log performance numbers.

  • Pull your stack, renewals, benchmarks, alternatives, and vendor search programmatically
  • Write actions to add or edit vendors and log your own performance numbers
  • Same engine as the AI assistant, so both behave identically
  • An importable schema lets tools like ChatGPT Actions wire up automatically
  • Every request is scoped to your store and to the powers you granted
NewDealers·

Paste a messy vendor list and get it cleaned up

Your AI can take a messy vendor list, like a column pasted from an accounts-payable export, and match each name to the right vendor in our directory. It handles common abbreviations and corporate suffixes, and shows you close matches instead of guessing.

  • Matches up to 200 names at once against the catalog
  • Understands shorthand, so VinSol finds VinSolutions and CDK Global, Inc. finds CDK Global
  • When it is not sure, it shows close matches for you to confirm
  • Never silently adds a vendor it could not confidently match
ImprovedDealers·

Redesigned home page with an instant competitive scan

The home page leads with one clear promise: connect once to the AI you already use, then just ask. Paste your dealership website right at the top to run a free comparison, see what technology nearby stores run, and watch short demos of the assistant at work.

  • Paste your dealership URL at the top to start a free scan instantly, no login
  • We find your dealership and nearby rivals automatically, no competitor URLs to track down
  • A three-step explainer plus example conversations show exactly what you get
  • A motion gallery plays short looping demos of each key moment
  • An independent-by-design section explains why a neutral comparison matters
ImprovedDealers·

See your comparison first, no email wall

Your comparison shows immediately after the scan with no email or signup wall in the way. Emailing yourself a copy is an optional choice after you have already seen everything.

  • Full result revealed before any ask for your email
  • Save and finish your profile in one click to unlock the full benchmark
  • Pick the specific rivals you want to compare by name
  • Email me a copy is a post-result option that never blocks your value
ImprovedDealers·

Straight answers in your comparison, never a fake all-clear

The comparison headline is always truthful. If rivals run categories you do not, it says how many and lists them. If we could not read a competitor's site, it says so per competitor instead of pretending you are ahead.

  • Tells you exactly which categories rivals cover that you do not
  • Says clearly when a competitor site could not be read, never a false you are ahead
  • Prompts you to rescan if your own site could not be read
  • Only says you are keeping pace when every rival was genuinely detected and you truly have no gaps
NewDealers·

A privacy-safe peek at how your costs compare

Below your stack comparison you see a benchmark for your category, like cost per lead versus dealers your size, shown as an anonymized peer distribution. Save your profile to unlock the exact figure.

  • Benchmarks only ever show pooled, anonymized peer data, never a single store
  • No figure appears unless at least five dealers have contributed
  • Shows how many anonymized peers it is based on
  • Save your profile to unlock the exact number
ImprovedEveryone·

A cleaner interface with dark and light mode

The whole product moved to one polished, consistent look with a dark mode and a light mode you can switch between. It respects your device preference the first time you arrive.

  • One consistent, easy-to-read look across every screen
  • A single sun and moon toggle to flip between dark and light
  • Remembers your choice on your next visit
  • Matches your device dark-or-light preference on first arrival
FixedEveryone·

Safer sign-in and connect flows

We strengthened the sign-in and connect-your-AI flows so they can only ever return you to a real LVL Up page, never to an outside site dressed up to look like us.

  • After you log in or confirm your email, you always land on a real LVL Up page
  • An application that asks to return you somewhere it did not register is stopped
  • Nothing is authorized when a return address does not match
  • Trust hardening across login, email confirmation, and the connect flow
ImprovedDealers·

A faster, more honest assessment

The free assessment now confirms your detected tools with one tap instead of typing, gives you an honest maturity score out of 100, and removes the made-up dollar-savings numbers that used to appear.

  • Confirm or remove detected tools as one-tap chips, no manual entry
  • An honest 0 to 100 maturity score labeled Emerging, Developing, or Advanced
  • No invented savings figures anywhere in results, the shared report, or the PDF
  • When a dollar amount appears it is a clearly labeled typical industry range, and we show nothing rather than guess
  • Your results lead with what you just unlocked and your top moves ranked by impact
NewDealers·

Answer four quick questions to unlock your benchmarks

On your dashboard, four fast tap-to-answer questions capture what a website scan can never see: your marketing budget, how you handle contracts, how connected your tools are, and how you report. Each answer unlocks a specific peer benchmark.

  • Four quick questions, each shows exactly which benchmark it unlocks
  • Captures budget, contracts, integration, and reporting that a scan cannot see
  • Unlock your cost-per-lead versus same-size dealers and renewal tracking
  • Checks itself off automatically and keeps your dashboard in sync
NewDealers·

Sign in with Google and keep the scan you already ran

Create your account or log in with one Google click, and if you ran a scan as a guest first, your dealership, stack, and results follow you in automatically so you never start over.

  • One-click Google sign-in, no password to set
  • Email and password still work if you prefer them
  • A scan you ran before signing up is attached to your new account automatically
  • Start using your account right away without waiting on a confirmation link
  • A get-set-up checklist walks you through seeing your stack, a few quick questions, and connecting your AI, and checks itself off as you go
FixedEveryone·

Sign-up confirmations, password resets, welcome emails, and your assessment report now send through a reliable provider, so they land in your inbox quickly and consistently.

  • Confirmation, reset, and welcome emails delivered reliably
  • Gentle nudges if you leave a scan unfinished, and a periodic check-in
  • Renewal warnings as a vendor contract approaches its deadline
  • A monthly stack health summary, practical and not spammy

  • See the categories climbing and falling the most across the market
  • Each category has its own page with a month-over-month score chart
  • Mini trend lines turn green, amber, or red so direction is obvious at a glance
  • Hot and Trending Up flags spotlight vendors picking up speed
  • Vendors see a Market Position panel showing their score versus the category average
NewDealers·

Manage your whole vendor stack in one place

See every vendor your dealership uses, grouped by category, in cards or a sortable table. Track each contract, cost, renewal date, and rep contact, and export the whole stack to PDF or spreadsheet.

  • Your dashboard opens with vendor count, total monthly spend, a per-category breakdown, and up or down trend arrows versus last month

  • Keep your vendor reps and account managers next to each contract
  • Export a clean PDF or CSV, with contracts expiring within 30 days highlighted
  • Archive a vendor to keep its history, or remove it with a confirmation step
NewDealers·

Renewal reminders and a stack health score

Never let a contract sneak up on you. LVL Up emails you 60 and 30 days before a vendor contract expires, shows upcoming expirations on your dashboard, and gives your stack a single 0 to 100 health score with a peer comparison.

  • Automatic renewal reminder emails at 60 and 30 days, with the same alert in-app
  • A dashboard card lists contracts coming due within 90 days, color-coded by urgency
  • A 0 to 100 stack health score across coverage, integration, governance, cost, and stability
  • See how your stack compares to similar dealerships
  • Automatic monthly snapshots power real month-over-month trends
NewDealers·

  • Competitor stacks grouped by category from a website scan
  • Instantly see gaps and advantages versus each rival
  • Captured automatically when you run a free competitive scan
  • An honest note that this reflects detected technology, not the full stack
NewDealers·

If your dealership belongs to a group, get a roll-up across every location: who has been assessed, each store's health and brands, a side-by-side comparison, and a vendor-overlap map showing where you are standardized versus fragmented.

  • One roll-up across every store, assessment status, health, and brands
  • Side-by-side comparison once two or more stores are assessed
  • A vendor-overlap map flags categories standardized green versus fragmented amber
